Tyra’s Teen Sex Addiction Trouble

by UpperRepublic on October 18, 2010

Tyra Banks is in BIG trouble and no we are not just speaking about her forehead.

An Atlanta based woman is suing Banks for $1 million in compensatory damages and $2 million in punitive damages because Tyra’s show had her 15-year-old daughter on during their teen sex addiction episode without her permission.

According to the AP the lawsuit filed on Oct. 8 in federal court in Atlanta, by Beverly McClendon
claims “the show contacted the teen on her cell phone after she responded to a request on the show’s website seeking “sex addicts.” Her daughter was picked up in a limo and flown to New York, put up in a swanky NY hotel and made an appearance on the talk show, all without her mother’s knowledge.

UpperRepublic.com has the skinny on the celebrity sex scandals.

The lawsuit for $3 million names Banks, Warner Bros. Entertainment and the executive producers of the show.

McClendon says her daughter suffered negligence and damages and wants they to never air the episode again. (Of course – that is added to the mega bucks she is suing for!)

Wow, this is major. Sure hope Tyra, crossed her T’s and dotted her I’s on this one.
